Las im\u00e1genes nos acompa\u00f1an hasta el sue\u00f1o, se entraman con contenidos latentes e intervienen en nuestras fantas\u00edas y decisiones. No se trata solamente de dormir con una pel\u00edcula de fondo, sino de c\u00f3mo las ficciones ingresan en el terreno del inconsciente y participan de nuestros modos de ver y de pensar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: large;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: large;\">\u00bfC\u00f3mo vemos cine en la actualidad? A veces buscamos una producci\u00f3n que nos recomendaron, cuando queremos la pausamos y, si estamos cansados, dormimos. Otras, sin querer, el visionado nos acompa\u00f1a hasta el sue\u00f1o.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: large;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: large;\">Distinto es lo que sucede cuando directamente optamos por una pel\u00edcula o serie a sabiendas de que al verlas nos vamos a dormir, porque advertimos que el film act\u00faa como somn\u00edfero.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: large;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: large;\">Es cierto que las ficciones y el descanso van de la mano, pero esta costumbre, \u00bfes una reversi\u00f3n del cuento que ped\u00edamos una y otra vez en la infancia? No, \u00bfno? \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 no?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: large;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: large;\">El cuento que se repite nos da la ilusi\u00f3n de comprender lo que sucede y lo que viene, de predecir un futuro y anticipar un final. Nos ubica dentro de una trama compartida, en compa\u00f1\u00eda de quien escribe, de su estilo, su humor y complicidad. Esa experiencia es placentera y, justamente, nos invita a so\u00f1ar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: large;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: large;\">M\u00e1s que estados homog\u00e9neos, dormir y so\u00f1ar nombran operaciones distintas. Dormir implica una retirada de la escena, una suspensi\u00f3n provisoria del lazo con el mundo. Algo parecido ocurr\u00eda con sus films: los personajes nos acompa\u00f1aban horas, d\u00edas, a veces toda la vida.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: large;\">Con las series, la experiencia se desplaza. La continuidad no produce mundo, sino inercia. Muchas veces la trama se estira, se vuelve serializada hasta perder espesor: hay que garantizar la pr\u00f3xima reproducci\u00f3n.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: large;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: large;\">El problema no es el sue\u00f1o, sino su administraci\u00f3n. De hecho, cuando al director de Netflix, Reed Hastings, le preguntaron sobre su competencia, dijo \u201cmi mayor competidor es el sue\u00f1o\u201d. Si las personas no tuvieran que dormir, podr\u00edan ver m\u00e1s series de su plataforma. Otro cambio propuesto por Netflix apunta a que los y las espectadoras no tengan que prestar atenci\u00f3n mientras ven un film o serie. Los ejecutivos le piden a los guionistas que sus personajes \u201canuncien lo que est\u00e1n haciendo\u201d para que se pueda seguir la trama sin mirar la pantalla. Es lo que propone el g\u00e9nero llamado \u201ccasual viewing\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: large;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: large;\">De este modo, las series se vuelven un fondo constante. Wajcman concibe las series como ventanas abiertas a los s\u00edntomas, como una m\u00e1quina de abrir los ojos: no relatos destinados a encandilarnos, sino historias que exponen el malestar de \u00e9poca. Ahora bien, entre las maratones interminables y el insomnio, entre las ficciones anest\u00e9sicas y las pesadillescas, \u00bfqueda a\u00fan un lugar para el sue\u00f1o como experiencia transformadora?<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: large;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: large;\">En una entrevista realizada a Lucrecia Martel se\u00f1ala que las pel\u00edculas no buscan representar la realidad, sino funcionar como un lente distorsionado de la experiencia; no mostrarla tal como es, sino hacer visible su car\u00e1cter deconstruido.
